More proof I should be medicated

I have over attachment issues. (It should be no surprise to anyone that my kids do too. Everything in our house has a name.)

Last night, as I was headed to bed, I checked on the kids as I always do. Cooper has a fish tank in his room as a night light. I peeked in and Edna, the mom fish, was staring at me. She looked hungry. I ignored her and went to bed. Within 3 minutes I was back up to go feed the fish.

I laid there and thought, maybe she is sad I didn’t feed her? She is probably hungry.

I even roll my eyes at myself. All the same. I fed the fish and slept much better because of it.

I am pretty sure Edna and Lucky slept better too. Ohyesiam.

Ring ring, Hey Katy, it’s CRAZY on the phone for you…

oh, you’re fine…or I am crazy too which is probably the case….I do the same for dogs, fish, frog, hamsters,a plant…oh yeah, I just said plant….

Not crazy…let’s call it overly thoughtful! I do this too. It’s funny how some stuff like that will seem completely normal and logical while it is happening, but later on you laugh at yourself!

When they can’t feed themselves, so to speak, we are helpless when we get the sad eyes.
