There are many reasons that we avoid taking our kids to weddings, ceremonies of any kind and sometimes even church.
With two tiny tots who love to hear the echo of their own voices against the vast ceilings, it’s often more trouble then it’s worth.
Not to mention, isn’t it rude to the people who would rather not be subjected to constant shhhhing, witness to mad amounts of bribery and the occasional *toot* on the pew?
“MOM, I TOOOOOTED!”
Today the priest asked the assembly to join him in singing. Cooper belted out “The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout…”

Cooper: “Mom, we can go look for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!”
Me: “What will we do when we find it?”
Cooper: “Borrow it!”
Me: “At 18 percent interest annually?”
Cooper: “YEAH, at 18 percent!”
